With artzin moving to IGL I don’t see why they will keep nerve after kick-off. Probably basic will move to main roster but I also don’t believe in Alym. There’s a world that furia can be:
Artzin - duel
Koala - flex/sen
Basic - controller
Eeiu - initiator
JonahP- igl/flex

both koala and nerve should be first ones out as long as they can find an IGL
nerve should definitely be on the chopping block before Koalanoob, but he's not allat either (he should also be on smokes/yoru not on senti those roles make no sense to me)
I think koala is full 2nd duelist/smokes permanently now. The only Map he played KJ on was haven and there was a loud leak scrimming them of him omen. Shaw also praised koala like he’s Jesus so I doubt he’ll be the first or second player to go
He looks super comfortable on those roles so should do even better. I’m worried about alym as he really had a stinker off season but he looks incredible on stream so hopefully he can fight the nerves.
Koala has looked like the best player this off season alongside eeiu.. the other 3 guys look concerning to me right now. I think nerve will go if bad results since he’s off IGL.
I mean whatever way this team goes I don' think they will do anything anyway but yes koala did look really good at times, I'm still not convinced that he is that good
I think Alym just had a hard time adapting to the pressure and stuff but he should never be dropped before the end of S1 imo even if he has a really bad kickoff
I'm not quite sure about Artzin either, I think he is a liability and his roles overlap with Basic's so if they can get him sorted out I think they should try to replace him, unless Artzin gets better outside pf the Mibr system
100% agree on everything you said however I still don’t get the unnecessary koala non belief. This guy was a gem in t2 and didn’t do terrible on a dysfunctional navi and he clearly showed great glimpses with a Furia looking lost. Alym 100% shouldn’t be benched before split 1 this guys too much of a talent to give up on. Nerve and art are the 2 players that need to be worried if things go south in my opinion. Nerve obviously not igl anymore and art doesn’t want to and said he gets stressed doing it so pretty self explanatory also.
when it comes to my (and the general) disbelief in koalanoob it's just that I've watch a few vods of him in ranked and I've never found him particularly talented mechanically even tho I think he is a smart player. I think he is fine in a team where he can be the 3/4th best player, but if he has to carry it gets tough. Doesn't mean that I necessarily want him to be kicked or smth (especially considering he is pbb top2ish on furia) but he's not a guy I have particular affection for, that's just it really
I don’t think his skill comes from his mechanical talents but decision making individually and for team. Every team he’s been on has praised him for being incredibly vocal and understanding the map close to an IGL level.
I do think mechanically he’s great but not top tier however his OP is 100% one of if not the best in Americas if he’s able to show it even this season depending on roles. I checked his tracker and compared it to some other pros and he’s doing exceptionally well most acts higher than a lot of pros (it’s ranked but clearly his mechanics have to be decent enough to put those numbers up)

He was hired to be the igl. If he’s not the IGL there’s no reason to keep him in the roster as there’s better mechanically players in the market
he shouldn't have been picked up in the first place, he's not a bad player but he shouldn't be in T1 considering he isn't even a top3 IGL in NA T2, let alone the whole of americas

alym is the best duelist furia could have gotten and nobody better is out there
I hope we get to see more chamber koala and alym duelist combo soon. Koala and alym are total opposites where Alym is a heavy rifler not great OP and koala is a complete beast with an OP. They should be working so well together but we are yet to see comps like that with those 2. Use the players strengths more on a team that’s clearly struggling imo
ngl i’m starting to question shaw as a coach. basically the roster building process was in his hands for MONTHS, HE chose to bring in nerve as the igl, and then RIGHT before the tournament starts he already takes the role away from him and gives igl to artzin, who DOESN’T like being igl.
it feels like they’re desperate for good results immediately, when if you’re picking up an igl from tier 2 you obviously should expect it to take time for him to adapt to tier 1. TERRIBLE planning and management.
