Uruguay's recent form has been very poor, they haven't beaten a better opponent than Uzbekistan all year (this was on neutral ground, mind you) and their most recent match was a 5-1 loss to the US B team. Everyone in Uruguay hates their coach and the players have outright said in interviews that their vibes are poor and that they straight up don't like playing for the national team anymore
Saudi Arabia, on the other hand, has been competitive this year. They weren't amazing in qualifying or anything but they've put up solid performances recently against good teams like Japan and Côte d'Ivoire. That 1-0 loss to Jordan was their poorest result this year
Obviously I'm not comparing the Copa América to the Arab Cup, that would be ridiculous. Saudi Arabia is better than Uruguay right now, though
