You can argue ropz stayed a fair bit behind zywoo literally the entire tournament long from the first played map rating wise and only came close because he dropped a ridiculous 2.89 in the last map. Are you rewarding consistency or an outlier?
They had the same rating indeed, and what's the best criteria to sort it out in case 2 players are seemingly equally deserving and have pretty close ratings? You check the other stats.
ZywOo edged ropz in every single statistic. More ADR, more KPRW, more impact rating and more RWS%. I would be happy either way, but let's not act like anybody was robbed.
i feel like the performance in grand finals and other playoff matches should be given precedence, like ropz and mezii showed up most when it mattered and ropz had quite literally the best map of his career in the major winning map. zywoo went quiet for the final (and semi finals) for the most part and got the biggest chunk of the rating in the quarter final.
