I think that's a different issue right there. Satoshi needs more than devellopment atp, if he is actally still shit in scrims (which I imagine is the case if they are looking for a replacement so late in the offseason) then it means that he is a tremendous issue, one that you can't afford to spend potential months trying to fix
Signing him means he wanted to/tried.
Dropping him like this means there were issues beyond fixing.
