I've been watching valorant for a couple months now and I wanted to know something as I was reading old vlr threads why did everyone think that flor wouldn't even be able to stand a chance on a tier 2 team like I was reading old threads and this would be the exact sentence "flor wouldn't even be a top 10 duelist in na tier 2" were people delusional or did they just not see talent

I've went through everyones tracker in gc everyone in na average rank is about immortal 2 to 3 in eu its about immortal 3 to radiant for main event
at gcc most of them have peaked radiant (many of them multiple times) and usually they are around immo 3 level. the mechanics of gc is probably abit behind tier 2 on average, but it depends alot and some gc players could definitely hold their own in tier 2 or even tier 1 in a few years. hopefully gc continues to improve and we get some of them into tier 1 in the future
I mean they can believe what ever they want won't be able to change there mind but like genuinely based on a eye test of just pure mechanical skill I just feel like people were delusional in saying flor wouldn't be able to stand a chance on a tier 2 team
because there are so many sexists on vlr its so hard to tell whats bait when talking about gc
im saying that GC is ascendant level based on their game sense not based off mechanics (which is easily tier 2 level maybe even tier1 idk) or gender
That's like the opposite of the reason GC is behind rn . Their game sense is not that bad. It's their mechanics and macros that's a bit behind of tier 2(at present, not that far)
pretty obvious she had the talent, its just that she was doing a lotta braindead plays in gc and ranked cause she knew she was just that much better. Also a lotta prospects come from challengers/tier2 and florescent couldnt say the same

it was legit just sexism. Only once cane started vouching for her did the haters shut up. She dropped highest acs in VCT EMEA for a split and they still said she was bad
on a team without a single win no less. she is literally generational talent that took way too fucking long to see anything come to fruition. What is stopping players like srN or Jelly or bstrdd or whatever other players there are out there from finding a spot in tier one? I think not too much.
