He was a baiter but that is kinda what he needs to do because hes initiator. Hes supposed to just go behind the duelist and get the trade. And he did that very well. But he also was so omnipresent all the time like he could read the game very well and punished a lot of teams and players in so many different situations. Sad that we only got to see him on true top level for like one and a half year
Leo is the best player I've ever seen, also, his stats are beyond imaginable...
Also, he is the GOAT and easily clears Cristiano

To this day no one has been able to recreate Leo’s play style. Leo that year was the closest thing to a perfect player. Don’t let the new guys fool you. I still remember that guild vs optic game where he shat on them
I don’t think that’s true. Leo is the best holistic Initiator player but I’d argue other players have shown higher individual peaks on every agent. None of them were as consistent as Leo in a single season though but you could defend that both Trent and Riens are close.
Sova: Brawk/Trent
Fade: Riens/Shao
Skye/Kayo/Breach: Ethan
Gekko: Riens
Tejo: Trent (not relevant but I must glaze).
Honestly I think Ethan should be rated over Leo at this point but flash initiaters have fallen out of the meta so he gets overlooked.
Leo had a monumental year on the most stacked roster at the time and that context is lost on a lot of people; 2023 FNC was a successful SUPERTEAM. It’s much easier to perform when you have insanely consistent teammates to rely on with the most refined system in the world. As an individual talent, I’d honestly rate him next to Riens — slightly weaker mechanically yet smarter.
Good points, I agree that trent and riens have become specialized in those agents a bit better than leo got to
but I still think it's impressive to be on a super team while being responsible for most of that super consistency - we've seen a couple superteams disappoint and/or have players occasionally underperform and rely on their super teammates
the good initiator pros are probably the smartest and most consistent players in general
