both ascension and ptc qualify you to regional tourneys with tier 1 teams
if you made all internationals have a tier 2 path then why would you compete against all tier 1 teams instead of competing against tier 2 teams for a spot at masters
also they have so many games so people can watch more games
Path of champions will be basically T2 team competing against T1 team, giving a path to champion for T2 team doesnt mean you can go to champ without facing T1 team, thats just mean you will face T1 team to steal the last spot
