im not even joking when i say enigma could make another vlr dupe specifically for league esports and it'll blow the fuck up for the sheer reasons being r/leagueoflegends is such a terrible place to discuss the esport both because of the reddit ass overmoderation and conflicts with general league posts. its fucking awful and its only as big as it is because there's literally no other alternative. all the esport stats and matches and whatnot are derived from a bunch of other sites you gotta frequent like gol.gg. a lot of val players already play league too (i dont think he knows that) so the site wouldn't be dead from the get go if he advertised it here
to add onto this, the best source of live info on league matches are fucking reddit threads. Game 1 of a series finishes and the best you got is some mod or a random dude on r/leagueoflegends giving a quick thread summary on what happened, nothing even remotely as practical as the live match updates you see on hltv or vlr its fucking ridiculous and stupid and its been like that for 16 years for whats supposed to be the biggest esport in the world. NO ONE EVEN CARES. no one cares. theyre just fine taking all of a match info readily available off of a REDDIT THREAD or some fucking random ass tweets or something. 16 YEARS. For some reason mobas tend to not have something like vlr or hltv equivalent like CS or Val. It honestly sucks due to how r/leagueoflegends is moderated.
