I mean your playing vs Deadlock Wall and Sage Wall buying a odin agaisnt this comp is a no brainer. They should have bought it way earlier on defense.

With 3 or more rookies on the international stage their are usually two ways it goes.
The stakes for DRG are pretty high this game. If they lose here they have to play in China Ascension right after.
Mickey mouse came from soccer and originated in the UK.
that might be a fluke, remember that right after that master win, T1 didn't qualify to masters
By the way I dont think T1 or Sen win were flakes just pointing out irony.
How is it a eg 23 when eg got 2nd at Tokyo and mibr had the worst international performance of any americas team ever at toronto?
EG already had signs that they were good MIBR has nothing.
If you watch over thousands of hours of valorant crazy plays would probably not be anything note worthy really.
They should probably do, 2 teams with the most champ points but only out of the teams that make playoffs next year. For the third and fourth seed specifically.
Start hunting in Brazilian T2 for a igl on the level of saadhak.
Eh you guys are still better/good in CS don't be to doomer. All regions will have downturns and upturns usually.
100T fans already being doomer after one loss.
2G more neon merchants then nongshim. The repercussions of that shit neon meta has impacted ascension results alot. M80 should have been here.
Calm down bro wait for the honeymoon phase to be over before saying that.
Alot of the top tier talent in the lpl is spread out amongst the teams (due to expensive contract buyouts and salaries). While the majority of top tier talent in the lck are centered around the top 3 teams, GENG, T1 , and HLE.
LCK is very top heavy while the LPL talent is more spread out.
Congrats you barely won vs a esports caster and jawgemo on a flu game. Hope your proud of your team.
Were primarily good in the individual esports like fgc really its console country sadly..
The only way they make champs is to get to stage 2 grand finals so odds are pretty low.
It would take a monumental bomb out in stage 2 for mibr to not make champs purely off points.
Bro most people are joking about the whole kick pc thing really.
I feel like kayo would get alot of value agaisnt geng comp ngl. But that's because I feel no flashes on sunset attack is really bad imo. The suppression would also help get on site I feel.
Well just judging it off Shanghai and Toronto 7/8 of the first seeds have lost their games. Extra Scrims and vod review seem to be not much of a perceived advantage they give.
As teams will act different in scrims as their more often then not testing strats and ideas.
You can be scrim merchants like giantx or kc winning scrims alot this year but not translating that to the actual stage
Stage time will always beat out scrims just because stage play is completely different to playing in scrims. And straight up in valorant their only so much that vod review can actually give you it isnt a unlimited advantage just to have vods on a team that played at max 9 maps in the meta. Or 4 maps if you go in 2-0 swiss stage winning every map.Especially when that same team can just change their comps as well.
That doesn't really answer for the the first seeds at Shanghai bombing out like they did.
Also I feel like your over estimating how much anting a team can do just from at most 9 maps (new meta or otherwise shown at Shanghai) or how much scrims can do as its scrims more often then not don't equal stage play.
I'm comparing more to CS where this type of advantage is shown to be very much a Advantage verses valorant where it isn't.
I think its more of a Advantage in cs because of the amount of stage play done vs valorant?
This format has to be questioned at this point.
In valorant their is a limit to how much vod review and scrims can actually benefit you vs CS. Especially with the limited stage games that teams play unlike Counter strike where they constantly play throughout the year.
Granted the whole adapting to a new meta doesn't help. But at that point you can argue being a first seed is a straight up disadvantage then it is a Advantage.
It was already poiting out to be a disadvantage when we have previous statements from fns, saadhak and probably more saying it was better for them to start in groups then straight to playoffs for more reps In the meta.
I mean even going into Shanghai people were talking about being a first seed being a disadvantage. With hindsight it was really the top 3 at Shanghai were all Swiss teams with several top seeds bombing out.
Even players like fns or saadhak in the past have said it was more of a benefit to go through groups then straight to playoffs for them for the extra reps In the meta because their is only so much vod review or scrims can actually benefit you then actually stage time.
Their is no rematches allowed in swiss stage.
It's better for your health to use your arm so you avoid carpel tunnel and even then pros usually mix between Arm and wrist depending on the dual their about to take.
Shield was given the kill reset and it could be recasted during the ability to extend the shield. So during that time you had isos just swinging getting two and resetting the shield basically making a big snowball agent.
Ah the league cycle was inevitable.
Honestly I think this roster really needed to work on expanding their agent pool during off season. The sage on split is really just looking like a agent pool problem.
One of them gives him the preplan in English. Then another person will translate any comms he needs and he probably knows some default calls in mandarin or can tell what's happening by now.
Yes you make Toronto if you get to upper finals. You make Toronto from lowers if you make the lowers final.
Yes the worse they can do is 3rd
Idk man furia didn't even look like they knew how to play ascent.
BRO did you watch furia vs lev ascent that was literally watching a ranked stream. The lower level of pacific mud doesn't compare to americas.
You think c9 won't be replaced by g2 or g2 isn't getting a spot? Also drx getting cut if 6 harsh.
He is so used to playing cypher on this map and playing around his traps and now has to change around playing around the viper orb/ult mid. He really didn't play viper at all last year. Don't underestimate playing comfort agents really.
My condolences go out to him, As someone who lost a close uncle to pancreas cancer. I couldn't imagine playing a high stakes bo5 while going through that kind of grief. Hope he keeps his head high and don't pay attention to the haters.
Yeah but for riot why put in extra money when its already good enough to satisfy what they want and how they want it to be?
It's just the business side of esports where riot will be cheap with how much they invest when they can see they can get away with it.
Hell you can see it even in Worlds, where their decreasing the amount of teams at worlds 2022, 2024 to 2025 from 24 teams to 22 teams to now just 17 teams. Riot is gonna be cheap when esport affects their finances to much basically. If their willing to decrease worlds teams, they ain't gonna go balls to the wall for gc.
I dont really like it either but it's gonna take awhile as long as riot has complete control of the esport scene they can be as cheap as they want and nothing anyone can really do about it.
It's not 16 because riot wants VCT champs to be the premier tournament of the year above others like worlds.
The only way GC gets to 16 is if Riot increases Champs vct from 16 , Gc gets partnership ( not happening due to riots goals), or GC just makes money that it would stupid to not invest more into it (probably not happening)
Honestly just seems to be a problem with West teams really after watching that TL vs WBG game then specific to eu.
Most fun to watch I agree until it gets boring. Can't imagine its fun to play against though.
Didn't make franchising due to past org dealings with immortals/envy/optic weird org buying and dealings. CEO h3czs saw T2 as not worth it due to cost and only wanted to be in valorant if he was given franchising so pulled out especially after wining a major.
279747100 Thank you :)
Monyet played neon in a game.
Riot added a rule that you need a minimum of two wins to make playoffs before the games started.
