i mean one of our best players went to NA

but yeah i feel like EU is sticking to mid players who stay in TIER 1 rather than trying to find talent in tier 2

i don't understand vlr's obsession with trophies. if 3 equal-strength regions (amer emea pac) each have a 1/3 chance of winning 6 internationals, there is a 26% chance that one of these teams goes trophyless. (i excluded china and champs 24; if you include them, this goes up to 49%.) and in every way EXCEPT trophies (grand finals, ewc) emea has proven they have a 1/3 chance at least

Bro can't do math. Its 9%

(2/3)^6

times 3, because there are 3 regions that could be trophyless. (minus (1/3)^6*3 for PIE purposes)

Fair enough if its for any region, but the fact emea won no trophy in 7 tournament (5% chance if all else being equal) likely means it's below 1/3 considering even china won at that time.

i'm not sure whether it's less than 1/3 or not; statistics would say there's not enough evidence (especially considering the Bonferroni correction and such). even if it was less than 1/3 (e.g. emea players choke on grand finals), i don't think this says much about emea as a WHOLE, again looking at second place finishes and ewc

its normal
less professional , less salary , less standarts , less good players = no achievement
