i got my first job, the salary is avarage, the problem is the distance between my house and my office. Its like 1,5 hours + traffic. The company has a strict tardiness policy, we clock in at 8am and clock out at 5pm. So I leave home around 6am and get home around 7pm. That's like working for 13 fucking hours.

if you have been working there for more than 6 months, start looking for interviews elsewhere at other jobs is what I would recommend. you won't be happy if you work there for a long time.

yeah i'd consider changing jobs. no job should take away all of your time or make you feel miserable

I mean you sound pretty convinced. As someone who also did the 1hr 30 minutes commute (granted that was just living in a different regional town so less frustrating than traffic) if it's killing your passion for what your doing then it's time to either move closer or start a plan to move on. I highly recommend you don't just send it and resign, have a plan find something else 1st.

Always one foot in one foot out, unemployment leads to desperation and taking anything you can get which probably would be just as bad for your mental as living with the commute.
