Supposedly RieNs will not be playing due to Turkish military service but he should be able to play in time for 2026 Kickoff
if heretics lose this they are still going to qf? after 0-3 group stage they will be in playoffs anyway or what
from what i see, top 3 qual, 1st place goes to semi, 2nd and 3rd in quarter; or does 1st get bye to gf?
I know these test tournaments mean nothing crazy and Heretics are without their best player, but ComeBack seems to fit their style really well. But it's crazy how much you see RieNs is missing. Even though Boo is the IGL, RieNs is the 2nd caller / often even main caller.
But in the end it's fun to see teams trying out some new stuff. I wish there would be more offseason tourneys like that with more teams... just some small quick tourneys.
In the end it's like public scrimming on LAN.
TH have never won an offseason game against a t1 team, no version of this team does well in off seasons they literally went 13-11 vs FOCUS and lost 2-0 to M8 last offseason lmao
i imagine the coaches go into offseason games with something specific to practise the same way they would scrims etc, impossible to know without being within the team but they often do actually insane stuff so it might literally be that they just use offseason events as more scrims and to get stage reps/reps in high pressure situations
Miniboo was never the problem imo. I thought th would sign a flex player and have woot in perma duel. Thats the best way to justify miniboo leaving. But they decided to keep things same. Now they have lost a flexible duelist.
All players other than reins are inconsistent and woot is becoming like alfajer . Not capable of playing flex but still won't play his best role. Also the only replaceable player on herectics imo was benjy
yeah Benjy is severely disappointing me. I know he can play better but maybe he's just not meant to play Sentinel. I'd love to see him play flex instead.
