why? they clearly want to run double duelist and it's not like penny is cryo, he can actually flex to agents outside duelist pool (or in cryo's case jett). I see you're a 100T fans so let me ask you the exact same question, why re-sign Cryo if you are getting timotino or why sign timo if you are keeping Cryo
No reason to attack my team but since you want to here
- Cryo is a mechanically talented player, but his duelist play is inflexible so that's why Timotino is signed. Secondly, he's switching roles to a sentinel.
Anyways I just don't see why anyone would want to lean into double duelist considering the meta switches every 3 months or so

I'm not attacking your team, I'm just questioning your double standards here, Cryo has been a duelist player for most of his career and yet 100T decides to sign him in hopes, he'd learn sentinel, this the exact same case for C9 too. Like I am actually so confused how you can defend 100T signing Cryo but hate on C9 signing Penny even though they are functionally expected to do the exact same thing for their respective teams.
well i mean outside of last offseason (1 game) he hasnt really tried to flex sentinel, its been smokes 2024 and now duelist mostly so im hoping coming into 2026 he actuaally commits to sentinel and im guessing they will since they signed timo as the duelist andd the differenfce is penny is being signed as a DUELIST without any sense of him flexing outside ofo maybe chamber? thats afaik
Look I've just watch the C9 podcast They signed Penny because:
- He's consistent
- Has experience playing with OXY (Omg nepo guys!!! playing with people you mesh well with is NEPO)
And guess what they want him to play more than just duelist for example viper, you know the agent he played on haven VIPER wowow so he's going to play more than just duelist. whaaaaaaaat? So you mean he's going to be filling a role similar to Cryo???? No WAY!!!

c9 is crap and easy to dunk on but also both of these standins were some of the best standins in NA
