Why wasn't he as hyped last year, why weren't teams going for him, and why's he suddenly hyped this year? When he was in tier 2 playing for oasis last year, no t1 team went for him, and then this year he's so much in demand, TS and GE. What changed in a year?

Hype is built by fanbase nd playing in major tournament nd performing. Simple answer for him is his good performance in ascension that's it .
Also let me tell you something not very widely known Xavi8k was supposed to be in VCT last year itself he cleared Bleed's trials nd he was finalized for their roster before Riot threw Bleed out so it was unfortunate for him .
That roster on paper was scary Aspas , sScary , Crazyguy, Ja, Xavi8k we missed out on it due to bleed ceo's antics
I am not sneaking him in that was the actual roster built by bleed for VCT nd he is a good igl which was his role in this team . You saw how he led RRQ to regional title nd 2 internationals
