Anyway just for fun info. Search for a guy called Aleksandr Karelin. I think this guys is legit contender for being one of the most dominant athlete oat. Like he had 19 years of career in wrestling and had 887 wins and only 2 losses. And he had 3 Olympic medals and 9 world championship medals. Bro was just too insane.
It is kinda hard to compare Esports to regualr sports, but he would be a top 5 athlete of the 21th Century for sure

Thing is sports generally last like centuries and are more widespread and accessible compared to like esports or gaming. esports is after all still a niche subject in most part of the world. So sports generally have lot of players that have achievements like these.

Tbh I feel like u can, since pro baseball, cricket, basketball or football have shelf life of like 15-20 years at best, and the people who compete there it's hard to find people who have consistently done good over that whole period. Compare that to eSports where players shelf life is like 10 years max to max but faker has done more than that and not to mention in those years he has consistently done good
Bruh normally most esports don't even last more than 10 years. Can't really compare sports and esports like that. League is a unique case. And also esports is still a niche thing in most countries in the world unlike big sports like football or volleyball or basketball even. Like if esports was as easily accessible like sports is then maybe esports could be compared to sports.
Also ngl if esports would last as long as like sports with century of lifetime and was as accessible in most part of he world we would have multiple faker type players in different games. Also esports culture is highly developed in very few countries like Korea and some eu countries and china slightly. Even then it's not as developed as sports culture at all.

Well for starters most physical sports require you to hit the gym 5 days a week often more. You need to stay physically fit and workout in a way that doesn't get you injured.
Need to follow strict diets and maintain calorie intake.
And then you are prone to injuries which can take u out for the whole season.
Compared to that playing any eSports is so much better.

It really depends on how someone values the sport/esport because one person will say tom brady is a top 5 player oat but someone who doesn't watch American football probably wouldn't say that. Also with how popular soccer/football is around the world most people would just fill their list with players from that sport and then maybe include a player like Tiger Woods or Lewis Hamilton as a 5th place spot
