Generative AI costs so much water and so much electricity, it’s horrible for the environment
It does not add enough value to anyones life for that to be worth it
Using AI has shown to decrease cognitive abilities - if you’re letting a robot do your thinking, you’ll turn dumber (surprise!!)
Meanwhile its based on biased data, reinforcing Western ideas, its still not always accurate, and literally telling children its a good idea to k themselves…
And don’t even start about OpenAI lying about anything and everything

comparativeley, a golf course uses more water than a generative ai model
everything else is accurate icl tho
water isn't a concern, disneyland orlando uses over half the total water that chatgpt does. one theme park
you can talk about energy usage (even though the solution is nuclear power) but the water usage genuinely isnt a concern its a minute amount in the grand scheme of things and the water is all recycled anyway
