From what I’ve heard, the three-core-players rule no longer exists. So, if that’s the case, there’s nothing illegal or that requires any investigation, because without that rule, BBL can buy out the whole roster just like any other team — without any loopholes.

The issue is not BBL. Its PCF. That org is a mess now and will not play T1. And Riot doesnt want that. They will be angry at BBL even though they should have seen it coming.

Yeah, but we are not sure about that for now because we dont have inside information from pcfic. They just dont have any players if this is happening wich is a legal move so they can quickly make a new roster with the riot support. It might be a difficult situation for Pcific, but since they’ve approved it, they must have a plan. If Riot has also approved it, I don’t think there will be any issues. But as I said, all of this is based on assumptions.
Riot giving support for every partnered team in VCT leagues as I know. If they got the support they can make a new roster just fine. Also what I heard there is no problem for PCF to being in emea. But I will say again these are all assumptions so I'm just yapping about what I think.
it's not all about making a roster. Riot can give whatever financial support they want PCF simply doesn't have the money. They're actually broke asf to the point that they can't afford the operational costs
Then yeah I can agree, It can be bad for Pcific if they cant find enough resource. We will see I guess. They are gonna probably make statement about the situtation. Also If there is a shady thing Riot probably gonna investigate it after this much reaction.
I don't think there will be any investigation cuz the move perfectly follows the rules, it's just that the rules are fucked up and BBL are bums for exploiting the hole in it. We'll see if Riot takes some form of action, but I believe they can't even do so
BBL used up all their money on acquiring PCIFIC it makes sense for them to have them join BBL while it basically fucked PCFIC as an org over anyways and they lose their Spot. Shady yes. But there were discussions about BBL's ability to stay in the league.
Nothing that surprising tho, BBL spent a lot of money on PCIFIC so it's not surprising if they got the entire roster
