Team Secret LEWson up for 2026

[Team Secret](https://www.vlr.gg/team/6199/team-secret/?src=ac) officially announces the signing of British-Australian duelist talent Luis "[LEW](https://www.vlr.gg/player/1062/lew)" Hibbert

LEW bounced into the oceanic scene in 2020 with free agent organisation [Akatsuki](https://www.vlr.gg/team/859/akatsuki/?src=ac) who were quickly signed to [Dire Wolves](https://www.vlr.gg/team/1352/dire-wolves/). After this, LEW hopped between free agent teams and organisations before finding his first big signing to [Bonkers}(https://www.vlr.gg/team/7313/bonkers) for [VCL OCE: Split 2 2023] where he qualified to [Pacific Ascension 2023] managing to make it to a respectable 5th-6th finish with a lights-out performance from LEW individually.

After losing out of ascension, LEW had a short 3 match stint in China under the organisation [JiJieHao](https://www.vlr.gg/team/12532/jijiehao/?src=ac) with his former teammate Nicholas "[Dragon](https://www.vlr.gg/player/6659/dragon) "Aleksandrovsky. JiJieHao then bought out Bonkers for the 2024 season, where they failed to qualify to ascension losing out in playoffs to [Arena Internet Cafe](https://www.vlr.gg/team/15289/arena-internet-cafe) and [FocusGG](https://www.vlr.gg/team/15253/focusgg).

In 2025, [JiJieHao](https://www.vlr.gg/team/14469/jijiehao/?src=ac) was bout out by [E-KING](https://www.vlr.gg/team/18111/e-king/?src=ac), and then went on to only drop 2 games for the entire year, and qualifying for [VCT 2025: Pacific Ascension](https://www.vlr.gg/event/2535/vct-2025-pacific-ascension) in 3-1 fashion against [Full House](https://www.vlr.gg/team/18234/full-house). LEW and his team unfortunately bombed out of the group stage without winning a series, losing 2 close series to the 1st and 3rd teams of the tournament [SLT Seongnam](https://www.vlr.gg/team/12446/slt-seongnam) and [BOOM Esports](https://www.vlr.gg/team/466/boom-esports).

LEW will now be the second Australian player to join the Pacific League. LEW's addition fills the whole left by [the departure](https://www.vlr.gg/575606/team-secret-releases-zesbeew-n1zzy-and-wild0reoo) of [n1zzy](https://www.vlr.gg/player/14225/n1zzy). With potential removal from the franchised league in 2027 at stake, Team Secret has one last year to show the world what the Philippines can do.
