So what's the advantage for upper bracket winner in grand finals? Like there must be something like extra+5 votes or +3.

Upper bracket winners would always win except people randomly change, Upper bracket winner are the ones that never lost a single match meaning anyone who made it to the grand final, the Upper bracket has indirectly won already and since people sentiment of people don't normally change in a few days the should still win.
