As much as I want SEA to do well, KR is just miles ahead of any sub-region in Pacific. No amount of 'support' is gonna help SEA unless they fix their gameplay themselves.
Combining regions and consistently reducing their slots each year is ruining the scene
sea lost investments due to that exclusivity by a lot tho, and investments really matters to take off stress off these guys

They don't realise that SEA teams themselves are playing like shit, have bad mental, very little adaptations etc.
Yes, SEA Challengers teams were bad on this Ascension.
But don't forget that our teams in late 2024 DSG, MiTH, AE, BTR were stronger than current representative MTV, NAOS, FS, NKT.
I don't think that's even a good comparison either way- MTV was DSG, and NAOS have been comparatively the best Filipino team for the past two years. AE was a tragedy, but I think I'm going on a hot take that BTR wasn't doing really good.

MTV just isn’t the same without AlexRr & BTR really hit their peak momentum in late 2024.
But after the SOOP exclusivity deal, almost all the top projects got reset, and that’s where things started to fall apart.
