Yes but it's normal for orgs to be able to replace a player if they're not satisfied. There's barely any job security in esports unfortunately but it's for understandable reasons. Although there are always clauses in the contracts that force the orgs to guarantee some counterparts to their players and have to offer a reasonable amount of job security (that's why for example a player is only put on the bench/reserve/academy when he is cut throughout the year, an org cannot get rid of the contract at any random point)
