They forget that one of the reasons Overwatch died is because the game became a util spam with 0 actual mechanical skill involved
Overwatch died because they committed to the idea of 5v5 and Overwatch 2 and stopped putting time into Overwatch 1. Not necessarily because of util spam.
Overwatch died in the GOATS meta, where every team played the same zero mechanical skill comp and it was just a spam clown fiesta
No it died because it was ran by blizzard who had no idea what they were doing at the time
They're kind of cooking with the game rn it probably won't last knowing them but it's definitely in a fairly alright spot which you could not have said since overwatch 2 initially came out
Return to this thread in 6-12 months and this game is back to silly changes at least they have the millions from mercy kiriko and juno skins they release every update to fall back on
It has nothing to do with abilities the hero that got closest to killing the game had not very much to do with them

there is a clear difference between how the game was balanced in their golden era and how the game was balanced when it started to die
