Last race of the season, lewis and Max Verstappen are tied in points. Lewis is leading, on pace to win. Latifi crashes. The safety car comes out, and Max, with nothing to lose, pits for fresh tires. The race restarts with one lap remaining, and Max, with fresh tires, passes lewis and wins. Normally, the race would finish under the safety car, which is why it's so controversial. In valorant terms, it's map five of champions grand finals. 11-12. You're in a 1v1, and your opponent is detained when his PC crashes. They rollback the round, except he's not detained anymore. He wins.

So true, He fucked up in Imola (Saved by red flag), trolled in Baku, trolled Budapest, fucked up the quali in Monaco. If you remove luck and stuff from the championship, Max wraps it up in Mexico. (+25 for Baku, +16 for Budapest, +25 for Silverstone). And Lewis loses 18 points in Imola (would have been a DNF), loses 10 points to Max in Baku (before the puncture), loses 7 points in Silverstone (because he likely comes 2nd to Max), loses 7 points in Sochi (because Norris should have fucking pitted)
