In your opinion, what's the #1 reason he's a bad agent right now?

Trying to get a community consensus

having nothing but smokes (aside from your ult) isn't very useful

too clunky; the person playing him essentially cannot find a way into the round due to having to constantly focus on their util

sage is better if you want to get plant down
any other smokes is better if you want smokes

His util is good but takes an eternity to cast, ie wall or cascade. Also the ult is great but you can play around it. Overall omen, viper and astra are a much better option in all the maps where harbor is viable

Well firstly I don't think he's bad but it's just other smoke agents are just better.
Though, I feel like the main ability cooldown is too long, and wall duration lasts too shortly. Impossible to do anything if you don't execute perfectly

Also playing solo harbor is pretty ass so if you even think about running him in comp or in general you're gonna need a 2nd smoker, when you wouldn't need to for other agents like astra / omen

cascade is a shit ability (too slow to setup, doesn't last that long), wall being dependant on your positioning when you cast it is an absolute horror in terms of flexibility around the map and throughout a round. Cove is useless on most maps, it's only good on icebox bc the map is utter dog poop. No impact around the map unlike omen/Astra/viper (and brim+clove to some extent). And only having smokes as abilities isn't very good in general, especialy when you take into account the fact that those smokes are poorly designed

i don't think he's bad it's just the tradeoffs make him not worth playing over other controllers. for example not being able to lurk and use utility for your team. also it's hard to use util for ur team when ur out of position in general.

can’t stall as well as the other controllers, you also give away your position when you use his cascades or high tides unlike omen or astra who can smoke from practically anywhere. to put it short he just lacks the flexibility since he MUST be played in a double controller composition to get the most value

hard to be solo controller without global smokes, not good secondary controller because you have an excess of smokes (and therefore deficit on other util)

He's lowkey very underrated the fact I see more brim and clove than him is crazy

His main smoke is very positional. You're playing B and they come A, half the maps you cant smoke A. Viper is different because she can do her setups pre round (and still she sometimes needs another controller) but Harbor is straight ass on defense. It's only retake smokes/ attack smokes. No stall.
