agree i would love for them to win. but they have made it so much farther than anyone thought. proud of them no matter what but champs would be amazing. W team.
Ngl this is how I felt for g2 at Bangkok, I was content with them making top 3 but then they made the finals and I expected them to win and it hurt so much when they lost. Nrg can close this for sure tho, they have players that are much less likely to choke

To be honest we looked very very weak in tokyo, i’m surprised we made it as far as we did and although it hurt a little that we lost to a sub it will feel miles worse if we lose this event

Honestly I don't think it was a "mistake" since that was literally the purpose of cubert academy, to showcase some t2 talent while keeping their buyouts insanely low so that they weren't being gatekept. If your argument is that they should've kept him for next year, that's just hindsight and also I'm sure skuba would've taken any tier 1 offer over staying on the bench.

NA team qualifies through the upper final to gain the double map ban advantage, and a KR team qualifies through the lower final despite everyone underrating them coming into the tournament. The KR team has veterans of the game who haven't won an international event in their careers, while the NA team comprises of a World Champion and 4 players who haven't won a title yet.
Where have I seen this before? 🤔
