is this nrg run as good or even better than eg's in '23?
i mean it's gotta be. obviously eg went from dogs to champions but nrg is close too. they were decent but they weren't good at the beginning of the year
you're right. i'm still unsure if it's better or not but this nrg's first international this year and they're about to make gf
yeah, probably only better if they do win tho but atp thats the expected outcome
i don't know if they were stronger or not. they just made an insane rags to riches run
I think it'll be a while before you have a rookie come in and fuckin fry everyone like demon1 did
ima be honest. i didn't even consider demon1 in this. but mada is close. he just has way more bad maps than demon1 did
oh i know. i aint trying to. '23 demon1 is arguably the best player performance by anyone, and he was a rookie.
EG was actually more consistent in 23', if you exclude lock in which doesnt count anyways
EG were literally the worst team in Americas and looked on another level by the end of the year
NRG just had FNS holding them back
they were the worst during lock in and regular season but once playoffs were hit, they were the best. nrg hasn't been this good until the end of stage 2
NRG was considered to be one of the best teams in Americas after they won SEN city and SOOP, but then during Kickoff Verno slapped the goofy out of FNS so they needed time to lock in
eg was crazier, 2025 had no clear fav that year there were clear favs and nrg was always min mid not dogwater
EG getting the opportunity off 100T throw knife kill will be a hard storyline to top, ever.
NRG going all in on FNS to start the season, dropping him, and then making champs finals and possibly winning is a pretty great storyline too though.
