so how the fuck was something able to hit top 7 in NA with 150 ping???? im getting 120ping in tokyo and im losing like every other gunfight to like iron players, now i truly grasp how impressive it is to hit top 7 NA on 150ping, holy shit
not just that but like is it even physically possible to replicate what something did

I remember 5 stacking with friends in OCE back then and i got 180 ms ping. most of them are like ascendant to diamond and they were getting destroyed by me lmao
while i haven't played ranked in a lot of time so i won't be able to speak about apac ranked, something or a lot of pros are quite cracked way beyond our imagination, hitting top 7 with 150 ping is like super hard when all the top players play under 30 ping

though he hasnt shown his ping. ilya lives in russia not exactly sure where but assuming he lives so far away from NA not to far fetch to say he indeed got 150-130 ping
he's from vladivostok/near vladivostok from what I know so he has around the same ping as players from tokyo to cal servers

its not quite 150 ping but you can check emil he's playing on radiant lobby at 130-140 ping and doing pretty good

as an oce immo that sometimes plays on manila servers with 160 ping, it's not that much different. i do play on an ascendant account on manila, not my main so. on high ping u can't hold angles, so u have to swing everything or else you'll perform bad

I played for roughly 2 years on NA with 120 ping (from Finland), you get used to it eventually and it rewards a more aggressive playstyle, on a micro level you're playing very predictively since your shots are always behind a fraction of a second so you can jigglepeek an angle and get a 1tap and then have the shot register as you're coming out for another jiggle
