If you all haven't caught up yet, prx is still looking pretty nice and is actually looking good enough to still make the grand finals however in the grand finals ,we would have to play some of our shaky maps like abyss and corrode and even haven making it incredibly difficult for them to win thus it's an extremely high chance for prx to come 2nd position again and u all already know what's gonna happen next, this site is gonna be filled with people calling prx still chokers ( though they would have lost by a map pool disadvantage) and say toronto was a fluke and stuff so the site will be unbearable

Brodie as much as i would like it, that's like bro they gonna need to pull some miracles for that( not talking abt prx match but talking abt grand finals) , they have a bad sunset, bad lotus , not so great haven. Their great maps are bind and abyss and alright maps are corrode and ascent, plus they fumble leads a lot man and they make so mistakes as well for them to actually win they need to play like somewhat perfect valorant
Yeah kind of true like how do u have 0 set strats on sunset attack ,mate u have double duelist surely u can make a few of them to just send it in . They have no ult strats( fucking crazy since like almost every team has it even a team like GX). Their lotus being bad isn't necessarily their fault but their comp is just like that wherein they don't have that kind of threatening util where if u don't move out of position u gonna die ( like raze nade or rocket)

Naah? Theirs like no way they gonna play sunset in gf definitely why? Cause it's both fnc and NRG permabans so that's right abt sunset not being there. but both NRG and fnc will be playing lotus bro. Fnc won't lose their trust on lotus because of that prx match and NRG have their double odin operator
I'm talking about PRX. The double ban will be used to ban their 2 best maps, which is Sunset and Lotus/Bind.
PRX only have chance of surviving if they fix their Haven and Ascent
(which is doable but I doubt it to perform at high level)
Dude I don't think u understood my comment, lotus has been a fnc favourite since like 2023 and they have always been good at it , just cause they almost lost it to prx doesn't mean they gonna start banning it now. So fnc in grand finals wont have lotus as a ban . When u look at NRG , lotus has been one of their prominent maps with the double odin and operator so NRG won't ban lotus in the grand finals either. The most common thing to be banned in grand finals in either case will be sunset + bind and it's not too bad for prx
If you actually see the map even closer, you will see that until 9-1, PRX are winning mostly based on aim alone.
Then they start to crumble when Chronicle step up, and continued to crumble more with Boaster Odin play.
The map knowledge still favours PRX, which is why I think it's possible for FNC to ban that map.
But imho, it's more probable for FNC to ban Bind and Sunset. or Ascent and Sunset.
For NRG, I think they will have the same ban veto as FNC (other than Lotus)
i think if either NRG or FNC reach gf they will leave Lotus open for pick
Yep the narrative from other teams sounds more lucrative ngl, if ranked by script NRG DRX FNC PRX. It aint looking good for PRX.
the only thing i have concerns right now, is that prx haven't shown a solid map pool, we all know how the double map ban played a crucial role at toronto; even if they reach finals nrg/fnc will obviously ban sunset(so 1 free map gone), and the second one depend on the recent showings (bind most probable);
unless they have been hiding their corrode/abyss and have cooked something up it is going to be quite hard as they would have to play 2 bo5s back to back meaning they might even have to reveal their cooked up stuff in lower final. also, the thing is ascent is decent, haven is weak, lotus is good (but it is good for fnc and nrg as well), abyss-corrode unknown(corrode was just lotus comp the last game tho)
They have shown that they can cook in Haven with that comp. But PRX being PRX, they always forget that they have protocols.
that loss against fnc traumatized me; as facing fnc with alfa is going to be even harder
Taking FNC and TH games into account, for me:
Lotus, Bind - good maps but shown to be loseable
Ascent, Haven - okay in my books
Corrode - didn't look convincing
Sunset - DRX and NRG are probably willing to let it through, though FNC is confirmed gonna ban it
Abyss - Unknown and the remaining teams all can play Abyss well, so it's either them getting wrecked, or they pull a one and done comp
