Currently viper has a 67% non mirror win rate on haven over 6 non mirror games, and a 64% non mirror win rate on lotus with 11 non mirror games
on the other maps she's picked on (corrode sunset and bind), she has a 100% non mirror win rate but the sample size is low as all of those maps have less than 4 non mirror games

why did teams stop playing her on lotus again? has to be boredom atp cus there's no way TH really thought that other teams wouldn't figure out their "chamber" "deadlock" comp after like 1 game.
also teams are struggling to get out of A into rubble without viper and also struggle to hold leads without her defense and offensive pressure towards A (NRG and Fnatic comebacks)
what is so wrong with the fnatic comp that teams have completely abandoned it, except fnatic ofc, and shocker they've won both their lotus games (even with doma)

Teams stopped playing Viper because it was too boring, definitely.

Imagine playing Viper for all of the season, I couldn't imagine doing that. Wayyy too boring

I agree that woot does kinda strike me as someone who could excel on viper (aim demon, not really needing to focus on util), but I feel like for a tournament as high stakes as champs, they shoulda just let their established senti player (benjy) play viper and not deadlock

i unironically think wo0t viper wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be at least on corrode

they lost out on sunset because they were playing fundamentally bad, it had nothing to do with the comp itself
