I agree that is fun, I just don't think it's appropriate when the other team is playing with a stand in that landed in Paris like 5 hours before the match and you're extremely favorite. But I think I just feel that way because I'm a FNC fan, that why I asked if that's fair or i was just butthurt.

In my opinion, as long as it's not directed at the sub it's not that bad, since many teams use "trashtalk" to hype themselves up, and not doing it could impact the team energy. I also think that it's better for players to treat the game normally (as if there was no sub on the other team) because being the favorites and expected to win could impact mental way more than usual if you mess up or start losing. Like imagine you get killed by babybay thats gotta be infinitely more tilting than getting killed my leaf.
I mean G2 were talking trash about demon1 while he was subbing for DRG and yet no one said anything. Trash talk makes the game more fun especially when the team whose trash talking loses. Like I remember last year whenever alfa would stand up and then FNC would immediately start losing after and how happy I was when FNC lost.
Nah it's all good both team respect each other, it's just fans. Fake fans will shit talk no matter what
