I don't want to talk about politics, this is Valorant.

But the american administration signed executive order to impose $100,000 annual fee on H-1B visas.

This literally destroyed VCT Americas, because teams like LOUD, Furia, KRU now have to pay 100k to stay in the league.
Unless Riot pays this for every player, VCT Americas just ended today.

Well guys, it was great. The only option is for Riot to move VCT Americas to Brazil

edit: First, I know that the visa used in VCT Americas is the P1-A, so this visa there that increased the price is a specific one, even so, it seems that the concern is that if increased the rate for HB-1, others may suffer the same change as well, including P1. We have to think about people that are not pros, staff members, cheffs, organizers, A-coachs, coachs. This makes Americas operation praticably impossible.

not much will be lost, seeing that only G2 can be called a good team

Isn't this VISA for doctors and engineers etc.?
I highly doubt it'd impact esports players

okay no politics on this website, but as a political analyst, this is objectively false (I'm literally paid to analyze data/politics/give info and predict politics)
do you even know what an h1b visa is? read first before complaining about "no brazilian teams". Also try to get everyone but mibr to be better, because they all suck. We shouldn't move it to brazil, you guys have your own problem (poverty is big in brazil, also crime frequently, etc.)

to elaborate further, from a political standpoint, trump has made multiple indications that he wanted to make h1bs harder to get, but he has mentioned nothing about p1as.
you have NO clue what is going on in the american political scene, just stop talking
also you are wrong, p1s's are typically issued to analysts/other staff for esports.

The leagues should be separated somewhat

the problem is logicistically there isn't really enough business in latin america/brazil, they would get wrecked internationally. MIBR is pretty good, i could see lev doing well, but everyone else is just trash (plus lev is like half not latin american)
