no, 2023 and 2022 still clear in my opinion. but it's definitely better than last year.
both 2022 and 2023 were very predictable tho. But yeah they both have their own storylines. I think match-quality wise, this year is the best.
2022 was predictable, but i wouldn't argue 2023 was. a lot of people thought loud would bomb out after a bad showing at tokyo and that fnatic would 3 peat. and nrg getting grouped was pretty shocking.
Imo it is predictable in a way that both PRX and EG were heavily favored to be the champions, and so they were the top 2. NRG one was funny tho.
prx and eg were definitely among the leaders in betting odds, but fnatic was the absolute favorite. they had just come off a dominant showing at tokyo.
FNC made top 4 still. EG made finals at Tokyo already. PRX was the initial second favourite. Overall very expected. I think its just the fact that its one of the earlier events that make it feel so special in your mind. Cuz atp you seen so many. The thrill wont be exactly the same anymore.
Literally every game but the blg one were close. So many potential winners. Upsets. Star players and big teams. It has everything.
kinda interesting so far many overtimes, lets see what will be in playoffs, for me some underdog story will be great here
