This is why seeding doesn't matter

  • 2 4th seed teams about to make playoffs (almost 3 if DRX didn't choke)
  • matchups are completely different at internationals

a 4th seed team is definitely winning the tournament

The biggest thing was the extra prep time for them. TH/DRX/MIBR all basically got a month of practice due to champs points. If it was just top 4 from stage 2, I think the seeding would've mattered alot more

yup all the 1/2 seeds played till the last games, whereas th/drx/mibr essentially skipped that time and bootcamped an as we all know their players are individually skilled so this time gap helped them formulate the strats

The top losing wasn't surprising, was it predictable? no but its not shocking

They were playing sloppy if you saw the games, Meteor and DH were bailing them out while stax and buzz were selling rounds.

won 3 pistols with 2 of them being on their map pick, overheated so many rounds and keep giving 1v1s for no reason

it was quite close, heretics are finally looking to have regained some of that flair, but despite a lot of questionable plays the game was pretty close
