Nah there are a significant amount of people who think this kind of stuff
we just need to reset, it doesnt matter if we change everyone else as long as we keep cryo we will play the same way, its that simple
nothing will change as long as cryo stays, if 100t truly wants to change we need to change him first
look heres the thing. i wouldn't really drop cryo and would give him another year. but lets be real here cryo has a problem and i can understand why they're doing it
they just wanted to rebuild a la eg, that's why. eeiu is the hardest player for them to replace value-wise if they go budget next year
100% agree. they should be rebuilding around Eeiu, i would just personally still keep Cryo

Like I said there are things to criticize him about, and if he isn't willing to work on his agent pool properly (which implies getting a better coach than zikz too) then it's very understandable to let him go, but his LFT post clearly says that he is willing not to just stick to jett iso yoru so as of rn it wouldn't make sense

The natural agents for him should just be senti. He is the last one of his kind who hasn't made the transition yet; leaf, yay, meteor, demon1, laz etc... hell even silentzz understood his agent pool before him
Let's be real, he's been with 100t for three years. Assuming this wasn't already asked/tested or that he didn't have time is a bit ingenuous. I don't believe proplayers words at all
Not only has he been asked to button he has done it; he has played Astra, brimstone omen (wasn't very good at omen granted), even cypher during an off season game (and was good at it). 100t simply didn't make a rebuild so they were "obviously" (what I mean is that the general roles on the team never changed bc they never wanted to change them) not gonna ask him to permanently role swap especially with how good he is at his usual job.
i disagree here. you say they didn't want to change them but at the same time says he done it, implying they did try to change and test him on other roles, and he was never particularly great in anything outside his obvious mechanical gift. and 100t did rebuild, they had the chance to swap him both to sentinel and controller at least four times (-stellar, -bang, -boostio, and -zander now) and they haven't done it, and i think it's unfair to only blame them for it and not himself too. again, he had three years. that's enough time to at least propose a role swap at some time since he himself was clearly uncomfortable being a full time duelist since at least lock in 2023 (which was the last time they tried ig)
i was discussing his faults in another thread, but my point wasnt to shit on him. what i was pointing out is how people make him out to be some sort of god and completely ignore how he also fully messes up the team.
he's mechanically gifted but he in the process fucks up half his team. his playstyle is also awful for duelist so he has to move to sentinel and his last showing on that role didn't make it look like he was comfortable on that either. i think he just has to work on that over this offseason and try fully transitioning to sentinel. his future on duelist does not look good and he should drop that role.
I don't recognize you so idek if I was talking abt you but yes we agree that he should play as much senti as possible. But I was more so talking abt the persons who think that removing him just like that would be a good idea
that's fair. i think they should give him 1 last year where they explore the sentinel path. however, if that doesn't work out i expect people to keep the same energy for cryo as they did for asuna.
cryo role is kinda weird, he doesn’t play all duelists, but doens’t play all controllers too
it's so stupid too cuz 100T could've played a duelistless Icebox (ik cryo's jett is really good but his omen could've been played too)

Cryo - Omen (Can play it like a duelist)
Kess - Killjoy
Zander - Viper
Eeiu - Sova
and this could've fixed so much but no we only have 2 maps we are good on.

I have no idea where the hate for Cryo is coming from and quite frankly should not be happening. He is one of the best players in VCT 2025.
Regarding stats, he is the #2 Rating, #5 ACS, #2 K:D, #2 KAST #3 ADR, #3 Kills Per Round with .85 (All Time, NA, VCT 2025). He is playing some of the best Valorant in his career and he may be peaking.
He's in a weird spot like Yay where he can play this aggressive role as a Duelist, but also play Senti like Chamber if need be like their recent Corrode comps. He also kind of reminds me of Eggster from T2 and watching him play Yoru. So could this also mean that Egg has a spot in T1?
