They tried it with icy. Didn't work. People said they werent gonna win anything with icy, and they gave him the boot.

Then, they brought in Jawgemo. Most people thought they were the "super team", and yes in many ways they are, but they havent even reached that final form yet. Bangkok, they were inches away from victory, but still fell short.

The question is, what more do they need? They have one of the best flexes, JonahP, doing god's work with leaf out and jawg slumping in stage 2, who used to be heralded as G2's weaklink, is now doing good.

They have the best fragging igl itw. One of the best initiators in the world. They asked for veteran experience, and they brought in NA's best sentinel, leaf. They even brought in world champion, jawgemo.

After all this, they still didn't win. What more does G2 need to win a trophy? All of them need to be in form? That's overkill.

I mean that in the sense they are the closest thing to perfection valorant has probably ever seen. Yes, we have seen that your point is proven in the teams that lost to wolves on their run. Simply my thoughts are just what else do they need to learn and do that they can win a trophy

imo just be more aggressive, if you look at the past 4 international winners they all had a lot of aggressive tendencies, even GENG who are the most methodical out of the 4 were more aggro

They are the closest to perfect yes, but all a team needs to be perfect is to always win. Which is basically impossible in valorant, which is why it’s impossible to be perfect.

They need some more agression imo, these international teams aren't 100T who are aimlessly agressive with no mechanics to back it up. These are the best aimers itw who will push into G2 and click their heads. Whether G2 fans want to admit it or not, 100T with Boostio has always been one of G2's weaknesses in terms of playstyle. That's cause they always disrespect them and take space.

So not a roster change, but simply a mentality shift. G2 needs to start having some more aggressive set plays to push the extremities or main maybe. Focus on re-clearing with numbers.

They take so many solo timings which gets them insane map control in most of their games
Today they played more scared though I dont know why, could be a mental block from scrims or past matches

You could say patience, they probably will win an event at some point, but the reality is, when was the last time a team won an event without a star duelist? It was probably Gambit’s Berlin win

The problem G2 (formerly known as Gamers2) have is that they don't have enough firepower. JonahPork, tr0nt and jawgemo just don't cut it. They need to upgrade those roles and stop playing haram-Valorant and they might have a chance of winning something.

Firepower is their biggest issue. They only win and look good because they play cringe boring Haram style Valorant which might work against americas teams but just won't cut it internationally. If they played normal Valorant their severe lack of firepower would become very apparent.

My opinion is pressure. Valyn is constantly talking about dynasty, and then when they see something going wrong when it shouldn't, like possibly missing Toronto, they crumble a bit, that's why 100T and EG almost eliminated them back in stage 1, and here again, everyone saying they have an easy group, something I definitely disagreed with, and then they don't play well and lose, they crumble once again. Too much expectation makes them iffy in some scenarios.

There is only one super team that worked and that is fnatic i don't class g2 as a Super team vitality was a super team but a super team is legit every player being godly at what they do

trent yes he is exceptional not much to say bad but ever since he stopped playing teijo while he has stayed at a level its a level below at what he was at
jonahp he has really good util prob some of the best support util out there but his fragging just lacks
leaf easily there best player when he is on u know it he will dominate but when he is under pressure he can ghost and thats normal cos most players will
jawg really good duelist just can be inconsistent at times
valyn he is a good fragger and a good igl but i feel he puts his fragging ability over his igling at times and a igl should focus on igling

bro its not like they are out of champs. you have to understand even winning NA regional is a very big achievement. becoming a team is not easy. they are doing perfect. they may not win anything but still that doesn't mean they are doing bad. if you are a fan you have high expectations. i would get it. i am not a fan of g2 but i enjoy their matches
