just wondering, I've switched NBA teams a few times because I follow the player, do you do the same in VCT?

Ive followed tgrd players forever but honestly I think id stick with g2 even if some of them left, mostly because of how stable G2 is as an org.

then follow players i like rather than teams (i.e vo0kashu, cryo, etc...)

nah I have always followed the same team since I got into vct but if they arent playing a match I support someone based on the players, ie when its a liquid vs anyone game I support liquid cause I love keiko but if its liquid vs prx then naturally I'm with my team

i switched teams, when m8 got relegated and ceo said they are leaving until 2027 i changed to GX flair, but now that KOI got relegated i might put back my M8 flair, but i still really like GX

Always a FNC but it becomes harder to defend against NA shitards on this site the only team I will switch to G2 they are best team from ascension overall

I only switched to NRG because I believe they can make it to champs way before the Heretics burnout. My dream came true.

I've never swapped teams in anything be it sports or esports (though in esports i kinda just have teams i enjoy watching) and then teams i hate. i don't have a real love for an esports team like i do for a real sports team. I am not young enough to be in this follow a player culture

watched Nadeshot before 100T ever happened from his tech youtuber era to his CDL era to now the 100T era. Imma stick with them. Also hiko was the goat

i've liked DRX since 2022 w/ the original squad.

when zest and rb got removed, i still liked DRX bc of the remaining 3.

then flashback beyn got added, and i started to like them over time.

once mako became the only remaining player of the original DRX, the new DRX players ended up growing on me.

now i like the current iteration of DRX (+-beyn and estrella).

my point is, as long as one person is remaining, you will most likely still support that team. (if mako ever leaves DRX, i will still like DRX since i like hyunmin, free1ng, and flashback a lot. if those three + mako for SOME reason get kicked out at once, then i will stop liking DRX)

Ive been a liquid fan since their champs run but when it comes to tournaments I tend to root for underdogs more, I also root for bbl because of jampii and NRG cus I like the current roster

I thought about it, for TL my favourite players are nAts and Keiko so if one of them or both left idk what I would do. I support TL in other games too so maybe I stick with them ?
