koi got removed because of breach of contract, i doubt they are contractually obligated to perform well so it must be some other shit
they are contractually obligated to have a good project so it might have been a factor. riot maybe wants to make an example for teams to take it seriously
you can’t really terminate a contract because you feel like it tho, there must be a legal basis, maybe they failed on the deliverables they had with riot?
saying this while MIBR, FURIA, LOUD, EG, C9, GE, DFM, ZETA, TS, VIT, KC and like half of China have been bad/ directionless for 2/3 franchising years makes no sense. Not saying all these teams are bad or as bad as their record suggests but it seems a bit silly to single out KOI if what you are saying is really the issue
i said one of the factors. there is allegedly other factors in play here too
also MIBR allegedly was in contention to be cut out of franchising in late 24 too before building the current team

But fact is it's not like we are not trying , half the time we get fucked when it's not even our fault, 2023 season we did produce great talent however the roster was indeed majorly fucked due to the visa issues coming in, 2024 was just a bad year tbh , 2025 we finally looked like we are onto something and then patricks visa doesn't come on time so 3-4 months of practice down in dumps then they had to practice with deryeon for the next 1-2 months and then patrick suddenly gets visa so who do u play, them juvenile thing happens fucks the team

Riot did not publish an official statement. I have little doubt that Koi's owner is not beign fully transparent and that there was some breach in the confidential contract that they signed when entering partnership. Do not believe it if it comes from just 1 source who has clear bias. No one else is getting removed.
