The issue is all players are getting paid to play 7 months per year. And sit on their asses for the rest. Obviously all the orgs are bleeding.
it's really just a massive reflection on orgs and riot. Orgs barely put up content, shitty ran off season tournaments, shit merch and alot of players have no marketability. Don't get me wrong there's a few decent ones (EWC, AVL, SOOP, RBHG and what not). I'm not gonna sit here and glaze 100T cuz the val team dissapoints when it looks like there is hope. But they be putting out content. The merch is actually decent. I'm 100% sure they are profitable.
most likely not the case as it would be counter-intuitive and would decentivize teams from applying/re-applying for 2027 onwards. It sets a dangerous precedence, scaring orgs off, like the valorant scene isn't already unstable.
