Ngl actual diabolical thing geng did in Toronto was the loss against g2 after winning both pistols and 11-4 up in icebox. Their loss against wolves wasn't even that big of a choke. Wolves just looked better in the next half also they won pistols which helped a lot.

having major events outside of the riot circuit is a good thing actually. it definitely needs to be handled better in terms of scheduling and whatnot but calling that trophy a fake trophy when it's attached to a prize-pool bigger than that of masters 1&2, played for on stage in front of a live audience against the best teams itw is just retard behavior

Yeah, it's a fact. It isn't a riot event. Just a prosperity event for orgs to get the bag. Still happy they won nonetheless... but stage 2 was just something else.
2025 GenG has to be it for me. 2024 TH didn’t choke that much, I thought that GenG and EDG were just the better team in the finals.
2025 GenG tried to invent new ways to lose. They choked away 3 huge leads in Toronto alone, came back domestically, and choked away even more leads, including a 10-2 playoff lead that ultimately got them eliminated from champs.
I think M8s this year in EMEA deserve a dishonorable mention too

Right now I think Gen.G are top of the list because they literally beat both toronto finalist and then just choked their out toronto and then proceed to not even make champs. Thinking back maybe I should've added 2024 Gen.G because of champs too.
I think G2 is the only team with potential to overtake Gen.G if they choke champs too.
Yeah I agree, GenG showed in Toronto that they were good enough to beat anybody, then threw up all over themselves. G2’s choke in Bangkok was pretty bad, so if they choke in Champs then 100% they could overtake GenG.
To G2’s credit though, they haven’t choked domestically at all and didn’t choke in Toronto, just lost to teams playing better at the time.
