why is the fnatic ascent comp so bad on attack
It has no means of actually taking space through utility. The only utility in the comp that has to be respected is Yoru flashes and Omen flash. It also is weak if the Omen player is not a fragger that can double dive with the Yoru. Also teams have now figured out that Kayo from the standard Ascent comp just hard counters Chamber. Just turn Kayo into an anti Chamber knife bot and the Chamber can't do what they want to do which is old weird off angles. The Chamber is either forced to fight and die in their weird spot or TP and respect the knife which devalues the pick.
i’m not smart but i think having 2 sentis would be rough on attack
taking space and being aggressive is hard
you have to build momentum on defense i guess if you want the comp to work
FNC also play SUPER slow and rely on enemy mistakes a tad bit to much. If they're playing against a team that doesn't peek solo too much and is aware of the map (like TL, maybe biased) then it's difficult for FNC to do anything
Its pretty funny cuz the comp itself genuinely isnt bad and u should be abled to take both b/a main and mid at the same time, fnc have a huge hole in their attack in b main, everyone copied them so now everyone struggles
BBL watched RRQ vods using tejo missile to counter chamber spacing, its a proven counter antistrat
the 2 senti comp is so bad if enemy team can just bait their utils early and take their spacing
Well for one thing it's double sentinel, so they have two agents they don't have any utility to get onto site. They are relying entirely on getting picks and then executing sites in the mid round. So it's obvious to NRG what their gameplan is and they don't really need to worry about fast site hits. Even if LEV does fast site hit which they tried on A I think,. they don't have the utility to push the players off the angles.
It's also more challenging for that comp to push OP users off of aggressive defensive angles. The Kayo knife and double flash are good for that
