that's expected it's unironically an attack sided comp but they're not even remotely playing to their outs on defense
does sort of make me wonder why we're playing attack-leaning comps instead of defense bolstering ones icl
It’s an attack-sided comp. The problem is that it doesn’t usually have enough util to retake with on defense
It's very difficult to defend with that comp because you can't fight for early space which is basically how you play Lotus, it honestly will work they just gotta keep practicing it, theres def stuff to improve on
Deadlock Omen + occasionally fade util from B can fight early A well enough without leaving other sites open
The defense side weakness here is needing individual performances to anchor sites to stall for the flood. You should never be letting a real retake happen where possible.
