What sports do you watch outside of Esports?

I primarily watch baseball, a little bit of basketball and football (both), also hockey but only the big games

Also what teams do you support and why? Usually it's because people rep their cities but there are always interesting stories on how people became a fan of a team

I generally hate the cricket in my country a bunch of bandwagoners and stupidity
You know what happened this year few people died to stampede just because a IPL team won after 18 years and they kept celebrating for their fans in home stadium

ya bro its genuinely sad I went to see the match like I went through a different gate or else I could have been in the stampede myself

I still don't get the appeal of cricket, how different is it from baseball? Also yeah Stanley Cup is a must

It is just as different when you compare water with sparkling water

So it's the same thing but also not?

entirely different just the methodology is same having a bat and ball the difference is it is usually 4 player who rotate around the base in baseball whereas in cricket there are only two players who rotate back and forth between stumps and there are more ways to get out in cricket than in baseball

I see, but since cricket outfielders don't wear gloves how rare is it for something like a regular fly ball out? Since it seems that liners happen a lot more often

I'm not too into Baseball either but they hit the ball more in cricket which is cool ig

I'll be honest, if my friend and I didn't watch like every major sporting final together, I'd never have watched a cricket match in my life. I think the catches > baseball catches tho

I tried watching a cricket game highlights before and didn't actually like the more hits aspect. In baseball a regular base hit can feel electric because of how much more skilled pitchers are these days. Also I have to disagree with the catches, something like home run denying catches are one of the most electric moments in sports for me. Maybe I'll try watching a full cricket game when I have the time
