Q9 fields their academy players per the club partnership agreement they have, but they have like 4-5 other players that are dispersed among the different top tier 2 teams giving them competition experience. xYU finished 2nd with Happy Gaming while thrashing Rare Atom despite losing. Shr1mp was apart of their academy before getting bought out by FPX, then got reabsorbed after FPX dropped him in favor of Berlin

this is only the first wave of talent, too. when viewership increases and more young players draw themselves to the game then they're only gonna expand their reach. wouldn't be surprised if their academy programs expand to like 30+ players by cn's partnership slot reevaluation
