Competition seems to have levelled up this stage. It's crazy when All Gamers actually get wins and look like they can go on their own run. This Wolves situation feels a bit similar to the MIBR situation where on paper they look good, but there must be something internally whether comms or strategies that seems to be not working.

They just build a amazing momentum/confidence that make them twice better than they where truly are, and now they did build a bad momentum and end x2 lower than they truly are. Confidenceis the key

It’s also domestically vs internationally, at masters, they played a bunch of teams that have never played them before. Vods and in the server are very different. When compared to domestically, every team basically knows every teams tendencies, so it’s much harder to play above your own level domestically vs an international. Wolves didn’t “fluke”, but they were playing way above their level with added momentum of winning

TMV pointed out that two of their three best maps are out of the pool and the maps left were there worst ones. Their run was deep in Toronto so they didn't have enough time to prep the new maps while improving their already bad maps. Also we saw many teams who didn't qualify for anything have leveled up their gameplay. Sliggy at the very start of the year also said how the map rotation is gonna affect the teams who qualify for internationals as if they make a deep run in a tournament, they are not gonna have time to prep new maps, agents, comps etc.
