There should be Two MVP's.
Winners MVP and Tournament MVP.
Not my choice whether who or if both get a Bracelet, but Alfajer not being awarded something for Toronto is robbery, one of the best performances of all time genuinely.
Technically, sure he is. In Traditional Sports like the NBA the MVP award is not gatekept to the Winning Team so why should it be for Valorant, Alfajer played the best and he should be rewarded. Its not a Team Trophy its an Individual Trophy.
What does loser slang mean?
A loser is the team or person that did not win or succeed.
I think if ur actually gonna stick to not giving it to non-winners u should just give up on it, the "loser" will always feel bad and everyone knows how insanely well alfa played
it isnt, iirc sideshow said that the talent has to vote for one player in the grand finals and even though alfa played like a beast forsaken got more votes in the end
The reason they voted for Forsaken is because he was on the winning team, so they simply voted for the best player on the winning team

But there should be 2 types of MVP's:
Finals MVP
MVP of the tournament
(1 player can win both MVP's depending on how the tournament and the finals plays out)
both should only go to a player that won the tournament
they should just make winner mvp and most impressive player in the tournament
yes unless someone putting a donk / zywoo stats 2.00+ as a runner up
i remember zywoo got 2 mvps while lost to the winner
The alfajer thing is quite odd to me. This site absolutely shits on aspas for "stat padding" and then turns around and says alfajer had better stats over the tournament so he deserves the mvp. Ofc I think alfa did an absolutely insane job in toronto and frankly if any one thing had gone their way they would've gotten the trophy but it's the weird double standard that's funny here.
They need a player of the tournament and a MVP. thats it. itll fix everything. MVP should always be from the winning team and PoT may not always be from the winning however the same player may win both mvp and PoT.
