if you composed a team full of people in similar skill and actually practiced id say you could come close to qualifying for main event

are you already AnyKey verified?

go for it!! it depends how u define 'pro', but u can def get past qualifiers with a good team depending on ur region! if ur trying to get on an actually salaried team, that's a lot harder, but there's so many F/A teams in GC with high ascendent/low immortal, u can def make it :D
just remember that ranked and coordinated play are different, so it may take some time, but u got this!!

The average GC squad competing in the open qualifiers are usually high immortal 1/immo 2 so you are def qualified enough to compete in GC

Go for it. Do you have some people that u know tho? It might be hard to find some people to get u hooked in GC unless you're already doing premier

hi I'm jademwah currently playing for pro gc team SK Nebula, hope what I write is helpful! <3

So to start yeah as many people said it depends you define pro, i'm gonna assume you are EMEA because of the norway flag, and in our region, there are lots of people playing who have around immortal elo, in things like contenders and regional leagues. contenders is the big tournament that you can qualify to through open qualifers or the previously said regional leagues, with some prize money and the top 4 teams qualifying to the main tournament in EMEA with all the big organisations, the 'GC main event.' These are normally where players first play to build experience, get to know the scene more and develop as a player, find your role, etc etc. In terms of going for things like qualifying to the GC main event which is what I would consider more the pro level (it is the top 10 teams in EMEA and normally everyone there is signed with an org and salaries) nowadays it requires a lot of hard work in learning how to play the game in a team, building communication and understanding how to make plays to win rounds for your team (without trolling!). i wouldn't say there is some specific elo you need to be to achieve a high level in emea, but most girls in main event have a peak of around 500rr+, and this helps you get a basic level of mechanics and understanding of agents that is definitely required to play vs the strong, well practiced teams - to give me as an example my peak is 640rr and i'm currently radiant but normally i am sitting somewhere in immortal 3 :) All in all what this means is just yes, you are definitely able to find a team and start competing if you want, but it will take serious hard work over normally at least one year to reach main event, what I would consider pro level (despite what VLR trolls will write about GC, without knowing anything of course)

GLHF! ^_^

ya, totally agreeing with jade here

you are already good enough, if you get people at a similar level, to perform well in OQ
you most LIKELY wont qualify in your first OQ to main event, it will take a long long time with alot of practice

my advice to OP is that you shouldnt team-hop every OQ, stick with the same team and practice with them to build up your talents and teamwork
