Hello! I just finished up the first VCT draft and it went really smoothly over the course of a couple days. There were no regional or language barrier restrictions, as this was a fantasy draft to make the best team possible (imagine they all got real-time translators in their ears). There were 8 selectors total and it was done in the Snake Draft format, pretty cool to see what everyone selected and in what order. Definitely some flair biased picks which y'all should be able to figure out based on the teams 😂.

But last I will say on this topic more generally is I think there is a lot of disservice done by trying to force a team like PRX into a mould of having a 'star player' / face of the team / MVP when they don't really operate as a team that focuses their game plan on enabling a star player (such as Optic used to around yay, or old Sentinels did around TenZ) or have a kind of carry player (like RRQ with Jemkin, EDG with KangKang). They are more like a mini Fnatic where they have brought together 4/5 individually strong people - who top frags per map or series is a roulette because they are all capable of pop-off performances.

I do think that f0rsakeN absolutely deserved the MVP because of how much value he contributes to the team in terms of calling, fragging, clutches, and vibes - but at least as an individual player - the gap between him and the other players is actually quite small. I do think that this push towards f0rsakeN as the representative face has almost blinded people to how good the others are too - where if they each were on a different team (and not on prx which is crowded with stars) - they would receive more recognition as a top player in each of those teams.

I think that I don't win the fanvote unfortunately. My team is more of a "hipster's dream" than a big-name-heavy team, especially for more Western audiences, also not too heavy on the name tax.

i took into consideration the longevity of the team and whether they can create a dynasty with consistency. form comes and goes but i think this team can create something special with joshrt coaching.
