I hate the way ewc's been, btw, but I've been kind of silent since it's their first; if this continues next year, then I'm switching from 50-50 to full mickey
it's just copium from people whose teams are sucking ass and know their teams are shit
ewc is not part of riot's vct circuit. you can search it up on the internet in case you did not know.
Even IEMs and PGL ,ESL are not part of of Valve CS circuit but they are prestigious events to win......
they are old tourneys that have been organised for a long time with good standard, I hope you have seen stream B's games where a entire map went without audio and the quality is shit; is ewc's first time so eh
the prize pool is even bigger so explain why teams wouldn't tru their hardest to win
And on top of that some orgs can compete for big prizes ( overall EWC standing)
people calling a tourney with 1.25M prizepool a mickey mouse needs to go to school
It's an off season tournament, prize pool might be similar, but it's prestige is no where close to a masters of champs. When the only incentive to win is prize pool, the tournament by default is pretty mickey.
