the game's just too chaotic and random for the playstyle that g2 thrive in. the tejo meta provided us the perfect environment to see how g2 could look if they were able to minimize variables to the max and guarantee plants + post plant

that's reasonable. however, i think that they can adapt. yes, they didn't adapt into toronto, but i think that that was just a rare misread on the meta by the coaching staff. now with lots of vods to work with, people like anderzz can really work well. i also think they could still work with the new map pool with bind coming back in, which was a really good map for them.

Yeah G2 narrative is crazy for a team that I feel like is really cool like to go so far from t2 is crazy development yet people dislike them for no reason

Tbh prx isn't a good example since they've mostly been in just valorant with small changes while keeping their core but I guess yeah they kinda count and idk enough about the other SEN teams to say yes or no

this is fair though. they don't have huge "stars" making incredibly flashy plays, more just a group of people that work well together and can play off each other well, not one standing out.

they still look like the best team in americas imo, but they had a really hard lower bracket (alongside only losing to the 1st and 2nd-placed teams of the tournament) so i wouldnt count them out just yet

i hope they put jawg on omen that would be so cool (on corrode).
i also think they should try playing double duelist with leaf. jonahp can flex onto senti and it could be awesome.
