These do not have to be large events or supported by riot, but riot should be trying to fund these events. The BtcTurk Gamefest event was a great event that let us get a first glimpse at roster moves. This isn't just for the fans though, there is a long break inbetween Masters 2 and Stage 2. We have EWC but that is a very controversial area which riot does assist in and it is essentially another Champs, not a mini event that lets us see roster moves domestically. Small tournements like BtcTurk Gamefest accross all regions would be have mutual benefits for all parties imo.
We need more tournements inbetween M2 and Stage 2

Riot just poor piece of shit. they have no money and don't let 3rd party make big event unless someone can pay them as much as ewc do
Every time they're asked why the event isn't better, they just bring up their limited budget.
